Joanna is an accomplished, energetic and results-focused senior executive and programme specialist, known for her ability to create exceptional teams and deliver exceptional results.

Joanna has a strong track record in delivering projects and programmes, leading organisational, cultural, and people change, developing and embedding successful business and operational strategies and creating conditions that drive outstanding performance in a range of fast-paced and high-pressured environments.

Joanna has proven experience in building teams, developing strong leaders, and forging strong relationships with senior executives across government and with senior private sector stakeholders in the New Zealand Business Community.

Joanna has significant experience with government funding processes. Joanna led the Business Case team for Inland Revenue’s Transformation Programmme, overseeing the completion of the strategic assessment and the development of the stage 1 Business Case. In 2015 she was asked by Treasury to pilot combining both RIA and BBC processes to provide more certainty to government when policy initiatives seek funding. Joanna also helped Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand finalise the Health Sector Agreements and Payments Programme Business Case to draw down the first tranche of funding (circa $80m).
